Brett Novak is a Chicago-born, Los Angeles-based filmmaker, best known for his cinematic work showcasing skateboarding around the world. He has filmed in over 25 countries spanning 6 continents, received numerous international film festival awards, and spoken at several major cultural events around the world, including a 2018 TEDxTalk in Brighton, England.

His work spans music video projects for artists including Beyoncé, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, and Lady Gaga; commercial projects for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Google, Audi, Warner Brothers, and Volkswagen; as well as several Hollywood feature films. His personal work has received over 32 million views online, and has been featured in major media outlets around the world including Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, VICE, and the BBC.
